Qigong
Qi in the Woods with Al, every Tuesday at 10 am, Leigh Woods.
Are you looking for something that is Relaxing and Healthy, yet simple?
Qigong is the more ancient form which gave birth to Tai Chi. It is great for your health, is good for combating stress, and is much easier to learn than Tai Chi. It has been designed to give you maximum health benefits, without the need to memorise complicated moves .
Al usually incorporates many types of Qigong execises into a session. Lessons are usually built around a form called ‘Shibashi‘. They may also include Standing Qigong, and other techniques such as shaking, tapping and Qigong swings. Beginers welcome!
Benefits of Shabashi:
- Shibashi is quick to learn and easy to remember.
- It can be done in a small space.
- It is an ideal excercise for people who do not have hours a day to practice. the complete range of excercises will only take 10 to 20 minutes (longer if you want).
- You don’t need to be in great shape to do it.
- It could improve your health and help you to live a long and active life.
- Shibashi is relaxing and enjoyable as well!
